Gretchen Betts Lead Consultant Gretchen is Clay Shaw Thomas’ Independent Financial Adviser, working within the wealth planning team as a Lead Consultant. She joined the firm in September 2003 after two years’ working and training with a big 5 accountants in Cardiff. |

Katie Burnett Audit & Accounts Senior Consultant Katie works within the audit & accounts team at Clay Shaw Thomas as a senior consultant and is responsible for a portfolio of clients. She joined the firm in September 1997 after gaining a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree in Business Accounting from the University of Glamorgan. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst training with the firm and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. |

James Burnett Principal James is responsible for the audit and accounts department of the company, ensuring the smooth running and timely turnaround of work. He acts for a portfolio of mainly corporate clients ranging from SMEs to substantial groups. |

Sarah Curzon Principal Sarah Curzon joined the firm in October 2006 from a top 15 firm of chartered accountants, where she headed the tax function for the Wales region, after having also gained experience working for international firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. She specialises in tax planning, including group company taxation, share schemes, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and land and property deals. |

Nick Hillsdon Audit & Accounts Lead Consultant Nick works within the audit and accounts team as a lead consultant and is responsible for a portfolio of clients. He joined the firm in April 1972, after completion of business course at college. |

Gemma Jones Audit & Accounts Senior Consultant Gemma works within the audit & accounts team at Clay Shaw Thomas as a senior consultant and is responsible for a portfolio of clients. She is also responsible, along with the other managers, for the day to day running of the audit department. Gemma joined Clay Shaw Thomas in May 2008 after almost 7 years working for a firm of chartered accountants in Swansea. She is trained in all aspects of the accountancy profession, however she now specialises in audit of financial statements and accounts preparation for larger companies. |

Sara Lathwood Wealth Planning Senior Consultant Sara works within the wealth planning team at Clay Shaw Thomas as a senior consultant and is responsible for a portfolio of clients. She is also responsible, along with the other managers, for the day to day running of the wealth planning department and heads up the compliance function of the team. |
